WRITING
I have written a number of books, booklets and papers over the years ranging from biblical commentary and theology to handbooks for Christian teaching. Most of those currently in print are available from Amazon and are usually also in ebook format on Kindle, or here as pdfs for downloading.
Here I list the main titles (newest first). Bible Studies in the Wrong Way! series (Malachi), in the Scattered series (1 Peter) and in the Alpha & Omega series (Revelation) are available here. Booklets in the As In Adam series are here. There have also been numerous papers published on-line on various websites; I don't have a list, but a number relating to Christian education can be found on this Internet Archive.
In Christ: Heavenly by Nature
(Book #3 in the As In Adam series)
Born in Adam, reborn in Christ. That is the reality for every Christian – transformed from imaging Adam to imaging Christ. It is a transformation from death to life in union with Christ. In Christ: Heavenly by Nature shows that in this union, Christ makes living in Christ, for Christ, like Christ, both a reality and a calling. Gifted a Person, Jesus, as their only way of life, their only goal, and their only eternity, the Bible guides Christians in the persevering obedience of faith as they walk in the Spirit, fixing their eyes on Jesus.
The Simple, Profound, Ordinance of
Christian Baptism
New!
Christian baptism is a simple, joyful ceremony that Jesus ordained for all of his disciples. In baptism, believers display and declare their faith in Christ, and publicly commit themselves to discipleship and Christ’s church. In baptising believers, the church affirms, portrays and celebrates their faith and discipleship, welcoming them into the church’s worship and witness, fellowship and life. It is a very simple ordinance, but one of profound meaning.
